The New Year Might Not Be What You Expect

Happy New Year.


2011 is going to be a great year here at Nativity and it all starts this weekend. 


We are kicking things off with a new message series, “Plan B” which is all about what happens when life doesn’t go as planned, how God works in those incredibly important moments. If you are on the threshold of a new year and things are not as you had planned this is a message for you. If you are at a place in life and life is not as you imagined it to be at an earlier time, this is a series for you. If you are a young person, looking ahead to the whole of your life and making your plans now, this is a series for you. If you are someone who is just considering coming back to church after a while away, this is definitely a series for you. Do not miss it.


Here are some other ways you can help us out as we begin a new year:


1. Pray for me, pray for our staff, pray for our ministry leaders. Pray that God will give us the wisdom and courage and the health and strength to lead where he is asking us to go.


2. Pray for all the people in our community who are far from God and do not have a church family. 


3. Invite a friend, who doesn’t have a church, to our church this weekend. If you do, I would love to meet them after Mass.  I usually greet people by the main altar.
